Sundays at Second Presbyterian Church
Program Year (Sept-May)
Beginning September 8, 2024 – May 25, 2025
- 8:45 a.m. Early Service – Sanctuary
- This traditional worship service is a slightly shorter version of the late service. While there is typically no choral music at this service, there is often special music offered by our church musicians or other soloists.
- 9:45 a.m. Sunday School for all ages
- Sunday School is held September through May from 9:45-10:45 a.m. The best way to find out what’s going on in adult education is to attend our Rally Day Picnic and Fall Kickoff (Aug. 25, 2024 at Braeloch), browse the church website for up-to-date information on all of our classes, or talk to a pastor. A Christian Education booklet is available in the church office or by request, which lists classes, content, and location.
- 11:00 a.m. Late Service – Sanctuary and Live Stream via YouTube
- The late service features traditional music from our Chancel Choir, as well as a Time for Children, and occasional musical offerings by other choirs and special guests. During the program year (September-May), children ages 4k – 1st grade are invited to attend Children, Worship, & Wonder following the Time for Children.
Summer Worship Service
June 1, 2025 – August 31, 2025
- 10:00 a.m. – Sanctuary and Live Stream via YouTube
- Throughout the summer months, we offer one worship service available both on site in the sanctuary and online via live stream.
A nursery is available each Sunday morning. Children, Worship, & Wonder meets during the 11:00 a.m. service.
