Loss of a father and a hero
                          -- by Eric E. Fitzpatrick

When reflecting on the life of Judge Beverly T. Fitzpatrick, you realize that he will never really be gone. He was a remarkable and truly are breed—a selfless man who led by example. Socially, spiritually and through his work, my father saved, touched, and helped thousands of people in his 80 years.

Dad was very active in his church, molding hundreds of young lives as accepted, he helped many through a program called "Honor Court" that he started and ran on his own time. In addition, "The Judge" led an effort to save his old high school and helped to convert it into The Jefferson Center, a center for the performing arts and community service agencies, which will enrich lives for many years to come. While doing all of this, he was a gentle and selfless father who showered our family with love and support. He was traditional, open-minded, sensitive, and fiercely creative all at the same time. I can't imagine a better role model. He gave everything he could to everyone he could. In all my years, I've never encountered a kinder soul. The paintings included in this brochure are dedicated with all my love to the finest man I ever have known, Beverly T. Fitzpatrick.
